Stowe Insurance Agency was founded in 1955 by Charles F. Black, former Vermont Commission of Banking and Insurance, and was purchased by Peter M. Haslam, Sr, former Vice-President of Vermont Mutual Insurance Co, in 1969. Glenn C. Mink and Peter M. Haslam, Jr purchased the agency from him upon his retirement in 1994.

We are a large independent agency located in central Vermont in the heart of ski country. We have three offices, located in Stowe (Stowe Insurance Agency) Waterbury (Breen Insurance Agency) and Johnson (Lamoille Valley Insurance).
